Wreath Laying Ceremony - Sunday, September 11, 2011, in observance of the 10th anniversary of 9-11. Ceremony lead by Combat Veteran's Motorcycle Association, to start at noon, for approximately one hour. There will be no speakers. We will unveil the latest name of CPO (Seal) Brian Bill on the sarcophagus at this ceremony. The public is invited to attend.

Construction Photos - At the site

Construction is moving forward in leaps and bounds - the foundation dug, footings poured, rebar installed, back filled with stone, drainage done and concrete slab poured - all before August 28th. Since then, the Granite Coporation of Barre has started placement of the fabricated granited pieces, done by Rock of Ages, onto the concrete slab. The centerpiece, being sculpted by Ken Maurice of Barre and Granite Industries of Vermont, is nearly complete and will be ready for placement very soon along with curved benches and the monoliths which surround the centerpiece.
