The ride raised over $15,000 this year. We had over 35 participants from 3 states. Winner of the Yamaha 950 VStar motorcycle was Kerri Fredette from Braintree, Vermont for collecting the most money in donations for the memorial. Chris Wood collected the best "poker hand" and won the special "biker bear" donated by Vermont Teddy Bear Co., and emblazoned with a miniature Vermont Fallen Families patch on the back of the biker bear jacket. Heather Moultroup, Heather Roberts and Wayne Blodgett all tied for the "most stops visited in the one day event, 22 each. These 3 all traveled together so were bound to be tied at the end of the ride!! A big thank you goes out to Lucky's Motor Sales and staff for the use of their facility for the end of the ride, Blood's Catering for the tent, table and chairs, Racin' Chefs for serving the food, and all the businesses that allowed us to use their place for pit stops along the way and businesses for donating prizes to be awarded to winners in each category. A special thanks to the Lakes Region Independent Ryders for their wonderful donation raised from their own ride in May.
The funds raised during this year's event would not have been possible with out our loyal supporters and participants, who helped to move this project to completion.
